Hello, homeschool parents! My name is Stacy Yim and I am the director of Home Sweet Home Academy. I have B.A in Sociology from UCLA and Site Supervisor Permit in Early Childhood Development.  I have worked with Pre-K and Kindergarten students at UCLA Early Care and Education and StoneBridge Christian Academy for over 20 years and homeschooled my two beautiful children up to high school. I also worked with children with autism by providing Direct Behavioral Therapy. I believe that every student is unique with different interests and talents and that not everyone learns and understands in the same way. That's why I believe it's vital to provide customized curriculum and programs for each of our students to make them feel comfortable and confident in their learning. I believe in building a solid foundation for learning, not only in just gaining knowledge but also building good study habits. Exposing our students to many different areas of study to help them to find their talents and passions that God has planned for them is my ultimate vision.
